On Friday the 15th of August Frances Rodden undertook her Unit Standard L3 review under the supervision of Dr Julie Jackson-Gough during the official launch of Singing for Seniors at Hillcrest Hospital. Dr Julie had this to say "Frances passed with flying colours. Running breathing exercises, encouraging vocal participation, & clapping along for the people who couldn't sing."
Each of the CHT Activities Coordinator's will have the opportunity to be assessed for the same unit standard certification. Frances, a CHT Diversional Therapist from Peacehaven said, "the programme structure and discs have made it straight forward to implement. The guidance provided from Harmonic Health was valuable in understanding the different ways to have the residents participate, breathe, gain confidence and socialise."
